Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Thanks for visiting the support site for Oracle Cloud Tools. As you use Oracle Cloud Tools like CloudConnect, SQLConnect and CloudText, you may have questions and issues that we can address. Please review our FAQs below, and if these do not answer your question feel free to contact us with your questions and issues.

I am getting a license expired message?

If you are using a trial version, and you get a license expired message, most likely your trial period is over. Please check if you are out of your trial period – in which case you should purchase a license to continue using Oracle Cloud Tools.

If you are in a licensed product and still getting this message, please contact your support/sales rep for further clarification.

What is your refund Policy?

We do not offer refunds except in certain situations and jurisdictions. Please contact [email protected] for any exceptions.

How do I cancel my subscription?

In case you do not like the SQLConnect product, or do not need it anymore, you can cancel your monthly subscription. For free trial, you can cancel anytime before the renewal date – and you’ll not be charged the auto renewal.

Cancellation Process:

  • If you choose not to continue your subscription after your 1st month trial expires, or at any time in the future – just send your cancellation request email to [email protected] with your Username.
  • You are welcome to use the application until the date of your subscription renewal. We do not refund for any unused period.

I get this error when launching the installer or the software

Does SQLConnect support SSO (Single Sign On)

If you have implemented Single Sign On (SSO) with dual mode (chooser option) then you can use your Oracle Cloud credentials to establish connection. This is done only ONCE per pod/connection. If you have SSO that requires multi factor authentication, then that may not work with SQLConnect.

Do you have customer service?

Of course! Our friendly and knowledgeable customer services reps are available to answer your questions via email from M-F, 8 am EST to 5 PM PST.
